Project Overview:

UPS Fleet Replacement at Veolia-managed Water Treatment Plants

Between 2022 and 2023, UPS Solutions was awarded the tender to replace the aging UPS fleet at Veolia's Luggage Point Advanced Water Treatment Plant in Queensland.

The Challenge:

The project demanded the replacement of a total of five 15kVA UPS systems. The challenge was to execute the upgrade without any interruption to the critical operations of the water treatment plant.

The Solution:

With our experience and technical expertise, UPS Solutions successfully replaced all five UPS systems across the designated period. In addition to this, we also provided assistance to Veolia at the Gibson Island Water Treatment Plant by installing a new 30kVA UPS and at the Gold Coast Desalination Plant by replacing four DC Rectifier systems.

The Outcome:

The project was executed smoothly, resulting in an upgraded, more reliable UPS fleet at the Luggage Point Advanced Water Treatment Plant. The successful replacement of the DC Rectifier systems at the Gold Coast Desalination Plant and the installation of a new UPS at Gibson Island further solidified our partnership with Veolia.
