After a thorough investigation, our team proposed Eaton's 160kVA 93PM model standalone UPS sans batteries. This model, functioning as a 'power conditioner', provided the perfect solution given the spatial constraints and the need to regulate power supply effectively.
One of the standout features of Eaton's 160kVA 93PM model is its reliance on high power IGBT, rather than transformer-based power conditioners. This feature allowed the UPS to produce a lower harmonic distortion and achieve a higher power rating within the confined space. The solution was more efficient in terms of footprint to power ratio compared to other power conditioners.
The Execution:
The UPS installation proceeded smoothly, and it's now regulating the incoming voltage to a nominated output. By keeping harmonics down and limiting other transients and line noises, the new system provides excellent protection against raw power for Marand's manufacturing process.
