UPS Solutions are proud to be part of Queensland’s largest battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Wandoan South. The $120 million project which will have a capacity of 100 megawatts and capable of storing 150-megawatt hours of energy is well underway. Our technical design team  in conjunction with Vertiv assisted Doosan GridTech in the design, supply & installation of a state of the art 3-phase Modular AC UPS system. The electrical installation of the UPS system has now been completed by our local QLD team so the UPS is feeding clean backup power

The Pfizer Manufacturing Plant in Melbourne had their #Vertiv APM 250kVA Modular UPS with a Li-Ion battery system installed earlier this week. A bypass switch rated for 315A was also installed in order to allow for future expansions with ease as their power demand grow over the years. With a comprehensive 12 months of Warranty alongside our future-proofed solution and our dedicated account management team, Pfizer was left feeling protected and taken care of.

As the primary maintenance service provider for ALDI Stores Australia's distribution centers, UPS Solutions manages their nationwide UPS fleet. We recently updated an ageing UPS system in Derrimut VIC, although still functional, it had exceeded its economical lifespan. As a critical service provider, we encourage clients to take preemptive actions to maintain IT asset reliability. We installed a new Vertiv EXS range UPS and batteries, while repurposing most of the existing electrical infrastructure, including the battery cabinet. This not only reduced costs but also minimized our environmental impact, leading to another satisfied client!

We were the successful tenderer for the replacement of their aged UPS fleet. A total of 5x 15kVA UPS systems replaced over 2022 & 2023. We have also assisted Veolia at Gibson Island Water treatment plant with a new 30kVA UPS as well as the Gold Coast Desalination Plant with replacement 4x DC Rectifier systems.
