Rack PDU’s (power distribution units) provide reliable power distribution via a single input with multiple output receptacles and distributes power from higher power devices such as a UPS to low amperage single phase circuits in the rack (servers, mperage single phase circuits in the rack (servers, switches, tapedrives etc.). Installing vertical Rack PDU’s unclutters the power cable distribution in your server room and expands the available outlets of the rooms UPS.
Seamlessly integrating into today’s state-of-the-art data centre designs, the APC Modular Remote Power Panel (RPP) is a true modular system. Up to 72 poles of three-phase power are distributed to the load by scalable power distribution modules (PDMs).
Requiring only 5U of rack space, the Modular Rack Distribution Panel distributes up to 138 kW while addressing power distribution needs in the world’s smallest footprint for power distribution units.

The APC Rack Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is a high availability switch that provides redundant power to connected equipment and has two input power cords, one for each AC source. The output configuration is (8) C13 and (1) C19
The Rack ATS supplies power to the connected load from a primary AC source. If that primary source becomes unavailable, the Rack ATS automatically transfers loads to the secondary source.
The transfer time from one source to the other is seamless to the connected equipment, as the switching occurs safely between the two input sources regardless of any phase differences. The units have built-in network connectivity, which allows for remote management through Web and SNMP. With multiple outlets, several devices can be plugged directly into the Rack ATS without the need for an additional Rack PDU. Current monitoring and alarms help prevent downtime to the equipment by providing aggregate current measurements and warnings when power consumption draws near the maximum rating of the Rack ATS. The STS (Static Transfer Switch), is an automatic static switching equipment designed to transfer critical loads between two independent AC power sources without interruption or with a transfer time of less than a cycle (20ms).
The Rack-Mount Static Transfer Switch (STS) safeguards the uninterrupted operation of mission critical IT equipment. Powered by two independent power sources, the STS rapidly switches from one source to the other automatically when the power supply used to power its connected load fails.

VESDA Systems are aspirating smoke detection used for early warning applications where response to a fire is critical. VESDA® works by continually drawing air into the pipe network via a high efficiency aspirator. A sample of this air is then passed through a dual stage filter. The first stage removes dust and dirt from the air sample before it allows the sample to enter the laser detection chamber for smoke detection. The second (ultra fine) stage provides an additional clean air supply to keep the detector’s optical surfaces free from contamination, ensuring stable calibration and long detector life.
From the filter, the air sample is passed through to the calibrated detection chamber where it is exposed to a laser light source. When smoke is present, light is scattered within the detection chamber and is instantly identified by the highly sensitive receiver system. The VESDA detectors are able to communicate this information to a fire alarm control panel, a software management system or a building management system via relays or a High Level Interface (HLI).

The sensors connect to the SensorGateway, our base unit (BASE-WIRED). Up to 2 sensors can be connected to the base unit. With the optional expansion units, the number of sensors that can connect to the base unit can be extended up to 5, 8 or 30 sensors. Maximum distance between a sensor and the base unit is 100m/330ft when using a CAT6/7 cable (subject to cable quality and interference).
